NITI RCS Type 1 Archwires

Our original and most popular, this shape offers a deeper "rocking chair" radius. This radius gives the wire more force in curve of spee correction. TYPE 1 exerts more force when correcting severe curve of spee cases.

NITI RCS Type 3 Archwires

TYPE 3 was designed for occasional "RCS" users or if your treatment calls for less force. TYPE 3 has a larger "rocking chair" radius that allows the wire to exert less force in curve of spee correction. The larger radius allows for easier insertion and is an excellent choice for initial leveling and does not require as much monitoring as other "RCS" shapes. TYPE 3's larger radius is easy to install and exerts less force than others.

NITI RCS Type 4 Archwires

TYPE 4 was developed for clinicians who prefer a slightly narrower arch form and a more "toed in" posterior section. We've added a little more wire, making TYPE 4 your choice when your treatment needs require a shape that is longer. TYPE 4's "toed in" posterior counters lingual crown tipping and molar rotation.

NITI RCS Type 5 Archwires

The TYPE 5 is the arch of choice for tilting back the molars for anchorage purposes. It maintains uprighted molars while using auxiliary arches or nitinol retraction springs for the cuspids and is excellent for lower anterior teeth intrusion and leveling the occlusal plane.

NITI RCS Type 6 Archwires

Our TYPE 6 "RCS" is a combination of our TYPE 1 and TYPE 4. Popular in Europe And Asia. Designed for bite opening and closing, leveling and aligning as well as deep and open bite correction. TYPE 6 has a narrower rocking chair than TYPE 1, but wider that TYPE 4.
